Technically the steps are built and I am now working on the landing that joins the deck stairs and the stone stairs...I have set myself up for two pathways now: the north garden path and the path that runs alongside the house. the stats on the stairs are these: the lower stairs average 5'wide by 2' deep, they have a 7" rise and there are 4 of them that come up to a 5' x 4' landing that joins the upper stairs. the upper stairs average 4' wide by 2' deep with a 7" rise, there are 5 of them. total square footage: 122.5 sq ft. 25 bags at $4.00 a bag: total cost $100.00. total time: 25 hours. The pleasure of walking barefoot on patties: priceless:)
